I was afraid the butterflies and flowers were going to be too frilly... but the striped skirt ruffle helps to tone that down...plus the fabric on the side of the bumpers that face out (can be seen from the outside of the crib) is brown and cream only. One detail that I couldn't see in the picture, but absolutely love is that some of the objects on the quilt are made of different materials. For example the pink butterfly is velvet and stuffed with cotton and raised slightly off the blanket... such a nice detail! The only thing I ddint care for was the fitted sheet. Rough fabric. So I ordered a plain brown velour one from Carters, which looks fantastik (a little less pink) and baby loves the warmth and softness.

We are very happy with our baby's crib attire. The colors are mild and very pretty. I like the way they flow together. I would definitely recommend this set for a classic, muted look.

We ordered this set just in time for our beautiful daughter's room and it is a great thing, because she was supposed to be born this week and decided that St. Patrick's Day was a much better day to make her grand entrance. When I got home on Saturday, March 19, 2011 (my birthday may I add) I saw that my mother-in-law and 4 and 5 year old sons had put our daughter's room together and it is more than gorgeous. It was worth puchasing it from Amazon.com vs. getting it from BabiesRUS where we actually saw the set. Beautiful set and I saved money and it was shipped directly to my door along with her crib (which we ordered from Amazon.com as well). It's a no brainer. If you are looking for something that is not too overly pink, but still very girlie and elegant this set is a MUST BUY!!
