I thought this set would match our pink and green nursery perfectly (going by the photo). I was incredibly disappointed when I opened the box. The colors of the stripes on the borders are NOT pleasing to the eye, nor do they look girly at all. The darker pink is actually more of a rusty orangish color, and the green is a dark green. The light pink is so light is almost looks white, or like it was super faded. The colors of the striped borders on everything just don't match well with the rest of the set and make it look ugly overall. Not sure if I got a faulty set, or what, since others seem to think it's beautiful, but the colors on mine are awful, and this set is NOT pretty or girly at all (which is such a shame because the actual owls are adorable).
