My daughter was expected any day, so I didn't want to send it back for the correct one, so I just washed it and put it in the nursery. Oh my gosh, I'm so glad this came! I'm looking back at the other one and wondering why I didn't order this one in the first place... Anyhow, I'd read some reviews about how these sets fall apart after the first wash.... THEY'RE NOT TRUE! The comforter in this set is my baby's "lovie" (I don't really like that word, but... you know what I mean!). I wash it ALLLL the time (and the fitted sheet, too), and a year and a half of constant washing has only JUST started taking it's toll. One of the dragonflies is coming undone (easy fix for me, but if it happens to you, just use fabric glue to glue the broken thread to the blanket - not a permanent fix, but it should last you a while more... or you could unseam the comforter and re-embroider it)... We painted the walls a soft lilac color and this matches PERFECTLY!!! The pictures don't do it justice in my opinion. It has enough colors and patterns in it to allow for diversity throughout the room's decor without being overly busy. I can't wait until we finish setting up our daughter's room. I have not washed it yet so I cannot speak to how it will fair in the wash. I'll try to update this review once I do with the results. |
